A Pastorinha

Pastorinha lives a bit by their gold standards from the past, being an iconic place in Carcavelos. Sadly, time has passed and as a restaurant is not good enough for current standards. The staff is old and really cordial, the view to the sea is a privilege, but how is possible to be so close to the sea and the table of “fresh” fish be so bad? The atmosphere of the restaurant also gives 80/90’s vibe, but at the same time it seems that is stopped at time and stopped evolving as a restaurant. For the price list that is

The food was mediocre and the staff didn’t seem very happy to have us here. The waiter looked pissed, half the things on the menu were finished and some things didn’t even come. The view is nice but for the price you’re paying you would expect more from the food and service

I cannot say this restaurant is WoW.. the views are amazing, of course, but the rest is very low standard for the price you have to pay. A simple example I can’t excuse in Portugal where the bread is amazing and cheap is making you pay 5.5€ for a bread that is not fresh and very poor quality. The desert was also obviously a scandal:8.5€ for a slice of a desert that was good but by far much worst than you can have anywhere else in Carcavelos by less than half price.
